The ACA accepts registration payments via our website by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).  The registration fee for this year is $450. If you have any questions regarding this information please contact our office at (859) 986-4584 or by email (tli@acaweb.org).  There is no fee to apply for admission.

 

Registration includes the following:

  • All materials, lodging, refreshment breaks, continental breakfasts and scheduled luncheons and dinners.

Attendee Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  • TLI cancellation notices must be received by email: tli@acaweb.org.  Refunds requested after the cancellation deadline (May 23, 2016) will be subject to a $100 administrative fee. All refunds will be processed after TLI. 
  • Registrants who are NO SHOWS are liable for the full amount due. Substitutions are not accepted.

GENERAL POLICIES


  • What happens when I submit my application?  The ACA and Coordinators of TLI review all applications. An application is not considered complete until approval by the Chief Academic Officer of the applicant’s institution. Applications must be submitted via the ACA website.  
  • Who is my Chief Academic Officer or CAO?  The Chief Academic Officer is the top-ranking Academic Administrator at your institution. Titles such as Provost, Dean of Faculty, and/or Vice President for Academic Affairs are often used for this member of the President’s senior staff.
  • Will I need to make my own lodging reservations?  Particpants are expected to stay on site (even if hosted at home institution).  All registered attendees will have lodging upon arrival to the institute.  The registration fee covers all lodging for the entire length of the institute. 
  • What appropriate attire is expected at the Opening Banquet?  Business casual or business attire is appropriate at the opening banquet.  Casual dress is appropriate for the remainder of the institute.
  •  What should I bring to TLI?
    • Laptop, notebook, or I-pad. Thumb drive or other storage device, power strip, and extra Ethernet connection.
    • Writing utensils, paper, whatever you need to make thinking and working on your courses possible.
    • Another reading lamp for bedside and extension cords.
    • Hangers, iron (desktop makes a passable surface for ironing)
    • Hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, hairdryer, and other grooming accessories.
    • Extra towels and washcloths if desired. NOTE: It is also handy to have a hand towel and a light weight towel to use as a floor mat outside the shower.   
    • If needed, any extra blankets, electric blanket, sleeping bag, and/or bed pad. (Each room will come with two sheets, a pillow, a pillow case, blanket, two towels, and a wash-cloth.)
    • Coffee pot, cups, bowls, flatware, and any food or beverage that you want outside of the delicious variety offered at mealtimes.
    • Additional clothing for activities such as swimming, running, hiking, etc.
