Rural Higher Education Leadership Institute

The Rural Higher Education Leadership Institute, offered by the Appalachian College Association in collaboration with Credo, aims to empower leaders in private rural and rural-serving institutions. The Institute is slated to begin in February 2025 and continue through September 2025. This strategic partnership and program are designed to develop aspiring campus leaders with a particular focus on leadership in the rural institutional context. The opening workshop will be held in person at Maryville College (TN) on February 19-20, 2025; the one-day closing workshop will be held in September 2025 at a location yet-to-be-named. All other sessions will be offered online, approximately every month.
