Mango Language Training

Friday, May 4, 2012

The Mango Languages database is an online language learning resource that includes more than 35 languages (including Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Spanish, Russian, etc.) as well as 15 ESL programs. Each Mango lesson is focused on practical, common conversation skills and includes instruction on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture. This resource is currently available through all ACA libraries; contact your library with any questions.

As part of the 2+ year subscription to Mango for all ACA institutions, we have contracted with Mango to provide some on-site training that will cover:

  • Mango’s learning methodology
  • Features available in the program
  • Administrative portal
  • Suite of languages available
  • Time for questions and exploration

The workshop will run from 10am-12pm and be followed by a provided lunch.

In order to accommodate schedules, the ACA will offer this training at three different locations. You will be able to sign up for the session that best suits your schedule. This training is open to all faculty and staff.  Please choose from the choices below.
