Summit 2024
Nearly 300 ACA faculty, staff, and administrators convened for Summit 2024, September 25-27, 2024, at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, TN. This year's conference entailed Pre-Summit day-long workshops on Wednesday. Our Council of Chief Academic Officers and our Council of Library Directors held their fall meetings on Wednesday. Nearly 200 participants attended sessions from about 120 presenters/co-presenters on Thursday and Friday at Summit.
The ACA Summit brings together faculty, staff, and administrative leaders from across the ACA to engage in ongoing collaboration and to share information and best practices in the ever-evolving effort of preparing students for success. The two-day program showcases outstanding ACA members across a spectrum of teaching, research, and service, and furnishes opportunities to share proven strategies to implement in your own classroom and/or your work at your institution.
One of the greatest strengths of the ACA is the similarity we share across our schools—in our missions, our values, and our profiles as small independent colleges emphasizing student learning—in a shared geographical region.
