Resources Overview

The Center for Teaching & Learning furnishes our faculty and staff access to many resources.

Water Cooler: The Water Cooler is designed to furnish resources that are immediately applicable to teaching and mentoring that are quick and easy to implement, such as short tool kits, instructional technology tutorial/reviews, and book reviews. The Center seeks submissions from ACA faculty and staff that, after Board review, may be published on the site.

Digging Deeper: Digging Deeper shares longer resources, such as scholarly articles/essays, case studies, and webinars that allow a more in-depth exploration of teaching and learning issues. And, like the Water Cooler materials, these resources provide ACA faculty and staff great opportunities to publish their work in a collaborative environment.

Web ResourcesThe Center continues to review and curate available resources from many higher education publications, centers, and other sites. It organizes these materials in categories related to teaching and learning, in and out of the classroom.

Grant & Funding Sources: Opportunities often arise from external private and public sources to support teaching and learning initiatives for faculty and staff. The Center shares information on foundations and public agencies that have within their mission and history support for higher education teaching development, student success, and general learning strategies.
