OVERVIEW
Pear Deck is a tool that can add engagement to existing Google Slide/ PowerPoint presentations. It allows students to respond real time to questions asked during a presentation. When asking a question, the instructor can get an answer (and thus engagement) from all students in class. In addition, the added anonymity can free up students to answer more challenging questions. Lastly, Pear Deck questions can also be accessed asynchronously for out of class formative assessments.
